Hi, my name is Keith “Madison” Miller.

How I came to own a radio station on an island off the north coast of Honduras is an amazing story in itself.  What is even more amazing is that it’s on an island which happens to be one of the most beautiful places on EARTH…

Mi Espanol es muy malo… So our programming is in English… another language that I speak poorly according to my friends from Canada (thanks Ed) and England (thanks William….)

We serve the entire population of Roatan, Islas de la Bahia, Honduras. Our music is very eclectic as we are afforded the luxury of a very broad demographic. Our listeners are everyone from UPSCALE Ex-Pats, to middle-class worker bees like me to upwardly mobile Roatan Island folk who make the island home…

My entire life has been in radio. My last 25 years as a broadcaster in San Diego, California at the legendary radio station KPRi… I did mornings there for 18 years… 18 years at the same station is a record for that market and probably for many markets… It was one of the top five experiences of my life…

I’m a professional broadcaster who loves music… I’ve created one station that is terrestrial… Blue Wave Radio Roatan on the air at 101.1 fm… and streaming live here along with three other streaming stations which fill in the gaps.

I also do mornings which focuses on the island community and my experiences in Roatan.

We welcome your comments, questions and suggestions… WE even invite you to create your own radio show on our Radio Roatan Desert Island Discs show… talk to you on the radio…

    HI Keith,

Great to meet you and I look forward to a long and lasting friendship. I think putting the show on Sunday Evenings at 6pm is brilliant…

All the best, Peter ‘Pete the Beat’ Schneider, Roatan, June 29th 2015
